Congrats to Emily Miller who came in first place for her 8 week M1 summer rotation project presentation entitled “Targeting Tumor Associated Macrophages: Investigating a novel drug combination for Triple Negative Breast Cancer.” Emily is entering into her second year at UTHSC medical school as a Merit Scholarship recipient (one of five out of 170 incoming students selected). She attended University of Tennessee and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Honors Biochemistry & Cellular and Molecular Biology (BCMB) where she was in the Chancellors Honors Program for 4 years, among other awards. Congratulations Emily!
