It was an honor to host our Metabolic Dysregulation and Cancer Risk Program (MeDOC) Consortium fall meeting at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. MeDOC is a transdisciplinary approach to obesity-associated cancer research. Colleagues from across the US came to Memphis to share cutting edge research. Working together strengthened our resolve to understand links between obesity, metabolic dysfunction, and cancer risk to reduce cancer burden. Thanks to National Cancer Institute (NCI) for supporting this important project and the UTHSC Center for Cancer Research for assistance in planning.
